Prophets were led by the Spirit to speak for God calling his people to repentance and warning them of the coming judgement.
One of the central messages of the prophets was calling out injustice done by God’s people, specifically to the poor and the foreigner.
The Holy Spirit leads us to justice and compassion because the Holy Spirit is for all people.
