o Passover is in the spring.
• John 7:2 “Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was near.”
o The Feast of Booths took place in the fall.
o Originally a harvest festival to celebrate how God provided for the Israelites while they were wandering in the desert.

How Could You Convince Your Siblings That You’re God?
• Is resurrection enough?
o We have examples in Scripture of other people brought back from the dead whose family didn’t believe they were God.
- Lazarus (John 11:1–46).
- Jairus’ Daughter (Mark 5:21–43).
- The Widow’s Son in Nain (Luke 7:11–17).
• Jesus’ resurrection alone is not enough to convince His siblings that He was God.
• Jesus’ brothers would have to know that He had risen from the dead, but also know that He was sinless.
The James Ossuary
• Ossuaries stop being used in Jerusalem after 70 AD, which means this ossuary was buried before 70 AD.
• The inscription reads “Ya’akov bar Yosef achui Yeshua” (James son of Joseph brother of Jesus).
