(Proverbs 4:7 NLT) Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment.
(Proverbs 3:12 NIV) because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
(Proverbs 13:24 NLT) Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.
To Spank or not to Spank
• Never done in anger
• Always followed with love
• Spanking is not discipline if its the only approach
Instill & Demonstrate ... Discipline in our children.
• Demonstration of love.

A child getting what ever they want is . . . is not showing them love.

• Demonstration of the right path.

(Proverbs 22:6 NLT) Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.

(Ephesians 6:4 NLT) Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.
Discipline Game Changers

• Leave foot prints you want your kids to walk in.

• Celebrate the good stuff.

• Understand its about their heart.

With holding discipline doesn't make them love you more.

(Malachi 4:6 NLT) His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. ...."

• It’s about the bigger picture.

It's a matter of eternity.

(Proverbs 23:13-14 MSG) 'Don’t be afraid to correct your young ones; a spanking won’t kill them. A good spanking, in fact, might save them from something worse than death.

(Hebrews 12:11 MSG). . . Too pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.
