Honor means

to Value

to acknowledge Worth
Honor does not begin with how they treated you.

• Honor begins with God's view of them.

God sees us where we are and what we can become!
Glorifacation

(Romans 8:30 NLT) And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

God sees you as made perfect before your ever get there!
• Honor blesses my life too.

(Ephesians 6:2-3 NLT) "Honor your father and mother." This is the first commandment with a promise: ||| If you honor your father and mother, "things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth."
Respect is earned ...

• Honor is given.

(1 Peter 2:13-17 NIV) Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority,
or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God's slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
(Romans 12:10 NIV) Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
• Prioritize them.

(Proverbs 3:9 NIV) Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops;
• Praise them.

(James 3:9-10 NIV) With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
• Protect them.

We protect anything that has value to us.

Those you protect, you honor.

(John 7:18 NLT) Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies.
The more I value something the more I get value from it.

The more I value my Church... the more value I get from it.
