https://reallifechurchkc.com/planyourvisitSeries Description:
Ever feel like you're not enough? Not strong enough, not good enough, not put together enough to handle life — let alone feel close to God? You're not alone. But what if the answer wasn't found in trying harder... but in trusting the One who already gave it all?
This 4-week series, ENOUGH, walks through the final days of Jesus' life and His resurrection to show us one powerful truth:
What we lacked, Jesus gave. Calvary is enough.

Last week we followed Peter and the difference between man's
plans and God's power.
plans and God's power.
Today we are going to look at another man in Jesus circle, Thomas. A man known for doubt.
Is Doubt bad? Can doubt be dangerous?
David was a man of full of faith about God.
David was also a man that had doubts.
Doubt is something we can all relate to.
What is doubt?
A feeling of uncertainty.
Thomas was always honest about his uncertainty.
1. Jesus didn’t rebuke Thomas.
2. Jesus shows us our connection to the Father, isn’t based on our understanding but on our relationship to Jesus
Thomas’s doubts were met by Jesus
1. Jesus didn’t rebuke Thomas
2. Jesus met Thomas doubts.
3. Thomas accepted reality
God has room for your doubts, but live in the reality that Jesus is ENOUGH
TALK IT OVER
- Have you ever been labeled as something (like “DoubtingThomas”) because of one moment in your life? How did that affect you?
- What does the story of Thomas teach us about the nature of doubt? Is doubt the opposite of faith, or can it coexist with faith?
- Read Psalm 13:1-2. How does David’s expression of doubt and sorrow resonate with your own experiences?
- Why do you think Jesus didn’t rebuke Thomas for his doubt but instead invited him to see and touch the wounds?
- In what ways can doubt become dangerous, and in what ways can it lead us deeper into truth?
- Have you ever gone through a time when your faith was shaken—perhaps because of suffering, injustice, unanswered questions, or silence from God? What did you do with those doubts?
- What are some practical ways we can bring our doubts to Jesus like Thomas did?
- Have you ever felt like you had to “have it all together” to follow Jesus? How does Thomas’ story challenge that idea?
- What does Jesus' interaction with Thomas say about how God responds to our honest questions and struggles?
- Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” What does that mean for us today? How can we strengthen our belief even when we can't see?
- Thomas went on to boldly spread the gospel, possibly to India, despite his earlier doubts. How can God use your doubts to grow your faith and mission?
- Are you currently struggling with any questions or doubts about God, His goodness, or your purpose? What would it look like to bring those to Him this week?
- How can we create a culture in our small group and church where it's safe to express doubts and questions without shame?
- What are some "old stories" of God's faithfulness (like David’s) that remind you that God can be trusted, even when you don’t understand what He’s doing?
- What does the phrase “Jesus plus nothing is enough” mean to you personally?
