Endure to Mature
James 1:1-4

An effective offense is wholehearted.

James is wisdom for a life of Christian integrity.

The joy is not the test but what it can produce.

Cheerful Audacity: a posture of defiant well-being in the face of trials.

Living with cheerful audacity depends on adopting a 'transcendent frame.'

Testing does not produce faith, it refines it.

Refinement is the process that produces virtue.

Faith will mature by what it willingly endures.

God wills your perfected completion.

The opposite of sin is not virtue but faith.

Complete humanity is perfect trust in God.

Stop trying to be perfect and start perfecting your trust.

The degree of your trust is the degree of your maturity.

Two wrong responses:
1. Christian Denial
2. Christian Nihilism

Hold your position

Change your perspective

Change your prayer.

Perfected faith is cheerfully audacious.

Salvation Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for drawing me to Yourself from my darkness, my sin, and my shame. I repent of my sins, and I ask You to forgive me. I welcome You into my heart, and I surrender my future into Your hands. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit, and help me to be a reflector of Your light to those around me. Thank You for including me in Your family. Amen
