Easter Sunday: Jesus, King of Kings

The Resurrection story is the pillar of the Church.

We have hope in hard moments because Jesus is risen.

The Resurrection is the Good News of the Bible.

We celebrate because this life is not the final say. Jesus is risen, and He is preeminent over all things.

At the Resurrection, Jesus became the firstborn of the dead.

The Resurrection answers man’s biggest questions.
· Where did we come from? We were created and given life by Jesus.
· Why are we here? We are here to live for His glory, and to live with expectancy!
· What happens to us when we die? We go and stand before the King of Kings.

Why are you at church today?

Three types of people:

The Denier – This person denies Jesus in spite of all the evidence.

The Knower – This person knows Jesus but does not allow Him to be King of their life.

The Follower – This person believes Jesus is Lord in all areas of their life.

The message of the Resurrection is too important to not take seriously.
