We celebrate Easter to commemorate Jesus Christ's resurrection, which represents the triumph over sin and death. This pivotal event signifies new life and hope, and reinforces the belief that Jesus's resurrection offers a path to eternal salvation and a future resurrection.

Why are the events of the Gospel considered "Good News" despite their tragic nature?

Jesus invites us to join him in the new life that his resurrection made available to us. In what ways has following Jesus transformed you?

Does the knowledge that the Holy Spirit resides within you bring you comfort? Explain why or why not.

To resurrect means to restore back to life. Reflect on something in your life that was “dead” but has been resurrected because of your relationship with Jesus?

How can we overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, knowing that God's power resides within us and enables us to live purposefully despite our circumstances?

Baptism represents a public profession of faith, a symbolic identification with Christ's death and resurrection, and a commitment to a new life in Christ. For those who have undergone baptism, what emotions did you experience as you came out of the water?
