• Being called sheep is not a compliment! Filthy, rebellious, appetite-driven, vulnerable, and easily influenced (herd mentality)
• Hard truth: “All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Rom 3:23)

• Jesus was the spotless/unblemished lamb offered once and for all to cleanse us from our past, sin, and future punishment (1 Peter 1:19)
• There is no other way or name in which we might be saved (Acts 4:12)
• Our example: He had to die so that we could experience eternal life

• Weird formula: Dead [in your sins] + death [to self] = [eternal] life
• Grand exchange: a one-time decision (salvation) AND a daily test

• We’re all a “work in progress,” but what’s the trajectory of your life
• Salvation is a free gift that cost you everything!

• If Jesus is not the Lord of your life, then He can’t be your Savior
• Your thoughts, relationships, future, health, words/posts, wealth, reputation, sexuality, influence, and actions are no longer yours
