Sermon Title: Three Testimonies, Two Gardens, Only One Way to Life

Sermon Text: Luke 22:39-53

Preparation Question: Is yours merely a lip-service religion or have you given your heart to Jesus?

Three testimonies from Scripture and one all-important question that call us to make the most important choice we will ever make:
1. In the Garden, Adam and Eve, and all the world with them, went from sheltered to shattered.

2. In the garden, Judas went from treasurer to traitor.

3. In the garden, Malchus went from broken to whole.

4. How will your story end?

1. How is the beginning of our testimony intertwined with the testimony of Adam and Eve?
2. Why do you think Adam and Eve chose to distrust God and disobey Him after they had experienced so much of His goodness?
3. How do we make sense of Judas' story, that, after having walked with Jesus for so long and seeing all his miracles, he never came to a saving faith in Jesus?
4. How do we keep from making the same mistake as Judas and make sure our Christianity isn't just lip service?
5. Will you, like Malchus, accept the Savior's healing touch, or will you, like Judas, commit soul-suicide through stubborn rebellion?
