This Sunday, April 13, we celebrate Palm/Passion Sunday which is always the Sunday before Easter. It is called “Palm” Sunday because it always includes one of the Gospel readings that tell about Jesus coming into Jerusalem for the Passover celebration when Jews remember how God freed them from slavery in Egypt as recorded in the book of Exodus. It is also the last Sunday in Lent, the Sunday before Easter.
