THE WORD OF WISDOM
The ability to have insight into people and situations that is not obvious to a person using natural faculties, combined with an understanding of what to do and how to do it.

THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE
A report or impartation of a specific piece of information that a person could not possibly know by natural means. The word of knowledge will happen in tandem with evangelism, healings, or miracles

DISCERNING OF SPIRITS
The ability to perceive quickly whether such things as people, events, or beliefs are from God or are of demonic origin. In a given environment, through this manifestation, you will be able to tell the kind of spirit that is at work.

THE GIFT OF FAITH
The Holy Spirit imparts divine faith and confidence in God's will for a specific need or situation, and it often accompanies a gift of "revelation" (word of wisdom, knowledge, or discerning of spirits).

GIFTS OF HEALINGS
The reversal of physical, emotional, and spiritual illnesses. Bring about perfect health; they include a variety of impartations through prayer and the laying on of hands.

THE WORKING OF MIRACLES
The ability to demonstrate the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit and confirm the superiority of the reign of the Kingdom of God over spiritual darkness and natural law.

THE GIFT OF TONGUES
A vocal gift or a spiritual utterance is given by the Holy Spirit to communicate in a language not previously known or understood by the speaker. The purpose of tongues is to give a message to other believers in order to build them up or strengthen them on behalf of God the Father. There is a difference between the corporate use of the gift of tongues and the use of spiritual language in personal prayer. As individuals, we pray in the Spirit or in tongues for personal edification.

THE GIFT OF INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES
Ability to understand and then speak forth the meaning of words previously spoken in an unknown language so that others present may be edified. This gift, then, works in tandem with the gift of tongues.

THE GIFT OF PROPHECY
Ability to speak forth under the influence of the Holy Spirit a message that brings edification, exhortation, and comfort from the heart of the Father to others. Prophecy is a "now" word from the Holy Spirit, yet it is subject to witness of Scripture.

No one “complete” gifts list [Rom 12:6-8, 1 Cor 12:8-30, and Eph 4:11-16]: Wisdom, Knowledge, Discerning Of Spirits, Faith, Healings, Miracles, Tongues, Interpretation Of Tongues, Prophecy, Administration, Apostleship, Evangelism, Exhortation, Giving/Generosity, Leadership, Mercy, Shepherding, Service/Helps, Hospitality, Teaching, etc.

• Our function finds existence (validation), clear definition (context), and enhancement (partnership) from the rest of the body
• Assignments don’t determine your current or future eternal value
• Comparison causes coveting (low worth) or pride (inflated worth)

• “Weaker, less honorable, and unpresentable parts” are indispensable
• God is the great equalizer by elevating, protecting, and honoring what humans have a tendency to take for granted and diminish
• Contentment = There is no one person or gift suitable for every job!

• Differing perspectives on what “higher/greater gifts” are: 1) Specific order of gifts [apostleship/prophecy/teaching], 2) Most needed for the moment/situation, 3) Foundational fruit [faith, hope, love]
• Desire: Long to operate in ___ AND appreciation for those who do ___
• Check ambitions: “What’s my destiny?” vs. “What’s my obedience?”
