We know money isn’t the meaning to life, yet it’s hard to figure out exactly the right kind of attitude to have about money. How do you balance the desire for money and not fall into the pitfalls of money? For the next four weeks we’re going to listen to what Jesus taught about money so that we maximize its good and avoid its bad for our lives.

Scripture: Parable of the shrewd manager, Luke 16:1-12
Two ways that God wants us to see money so that we relate to money in the right way:
1. Money is a TOOL for gaining friendship with God and a place in heaven.
2. Money is a TEST of our devotion to God.
How we manage the “very little” we have been given will determine if we are worthy to receive true riches and inherit the kingdom of heaven.
We are STEWARDS, not OWNERS.
“If someone else were to look at my expenditures over the past two months, would they see evidence that I am prioritizing God and his kingdom?”
