Today, we learn that wise believers rise in prayer according to God’s will, God’s provision, and God’s deliverance for themselves and others. This 14-week series will examine King Solomon's reign and learn how to rise with wisdom in a generation of foolishness.

(1) Revere God in Heaven (Matthew 6:9a; 1 Kings 8:22-26)
(2) Honor God's Name (Matthew 6:9b; 1 Kings 8:27-30)
(3) Desire God's Will (Matthew 6:10; 1 Kings 8:59-60)
(4) Ask for Provision (Matthew 6:11; 1 Kings 8:37-40)
(5) Confess & Forgive (Matthew 6:12; 1 Kings 8:46-53)
(6) Seek Deliverance (Matthew 6:13; 1 Kings 8:31-36,44-45)
(7) Intercede for Others (Matthew 6:9-13; 1 Kings 8:30, 41-43)
(8) Offer Everything to God ("For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and glory forever and ever"; 1 Kings 8:54-61)

ACTION STEPS:
- Receive the forgiveness and deliverance of God through Jesus's Sacrifice.
- As we take communion, compose your prayer to God using the above structure.
