3. You need to show progress over time.

3. Those Closest to You
4. The Church
5. The World

Making a concerted effort, being willing to hear and accept the truth, owning personal responsibility to repent, and aligning with God’s will require a major investment of oneself. However, accountability is an indispensable element for facilitating personal growth and maturity. You must place a high value on keeping your promises to God including when it is difficult to do so… The takeaway of this lesson is to be serious about making sure your actions match your words. Think, speak, and act godly as the Bible instructs and make yourself accountable to God and others. Put your spiritual goals in writing so you can refer to them regularly and remember to practice them faithfully."
