Sermon Title: Let's Be Assured of God's Providence in the Midst of Our Problems

Sermon Text: Acts 15:36-41

Preparation Question: How have you seen God's providence at work through a difficult situation?

Three instructions for faithfully weathering conflict and confusion:

1. It is possible that, in this life, not all of our conflicts will be resolved and not all of our confusion will be answered. (v. 36-39a)

2. The guiding question in every situation is, “What best serves Jesus and His mission?” (v. 37-38)

3. In the midst of conflict and confusion, entrust it all to Jesus and He will do great things. (v. 39b-41)

Response Questions
1. Why doesn't God solve all our problems and answer all our questions this side of Heaven?
2. How do we learn to trust God in the mist of unsolved problems and unanswered questions?
3. Why can it be dangerous to play the comparison game with what God has called others to do in the Kingdom?
4. Have you seen God do something great in the midst of or as a result of a confusing or difficult situation?
5. Will you entrust all of your circumstances to God this week?
