• It makes me happy so it must be ok.
If it feels good do it.
(Proverbs 14:12 NIV) There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.

• I don't feel happy, so I need to get out.
It can't be God's will if it is uncomfortable.

• I'm not happy, it must be God's fault.

• I know what will make me happy.

But you — keep your eye on what you’re doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God’s servant.

God's standard is holy.
(1 Peter 1:15 NLT) But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.

Not every #ONEstep you take will make you happy.

• God wants more than happy, He wants us blessed.

Blessed is lowering expectations of our time on earth and looking at the limitless expectations of eternity in heaven.

"God blesses you when people b and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
