“Nehemiah showed himself to be spiritually discerning when the enemies utilized false prophets for their agenda. Not everyone who claims to have a word from the Lord for you does. Jesus teaches his followers to be on guard for those doing evil while claiming to do good (Matthew 7:15-20). The apostle Paul instructs believers to encourage prophetic words but only accept what is good by testing them (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21).”
