• Why does God allow pain and suffering?
• If God exists, why is there so much evil in the world?
• If God exists, why is there so much evil in the world?
A GOD WHO LET'S BABIES DIE?
Pain is the physical or emotional sensation of distress or discomfort caused by injury, illness, or loss.
Suffering is the prolonged experience of pain, hardship, or distress.

Evil is a Privation—Not a Created Thing.
• Darkness exists in the absence of light.
• Cold exists in the absence of heat.
• Evil exists in the absence of good.
• Darkness exists in the absence of light.
• Cold exists in the absence of heat.
• Evil exists in the absence of good.
• Moral evil—the result of humanity rejecting God’s ways.
• Natural evil—a world fractured by sin, groaning under the weight of suffering, disaster, and decay.
• Emotional evil—the despair that comes when the soul is severed from the hope of God.

• Emotional evil—the despair that comes when the soul is severed from the hope of God.
Every worldview operates on faith. A confidence in something unknown that they believe will surely bring them hope.

Love without a choice isn’t love. And obedience without an option isn’t trust.

Evil exists because humanity chose to define good and evil apart from God.
Free will allows for evil, but it does not cause it.
In heaven, we will have free will, but sin will no longer be an available choice because it will be fully eradicated from our nature.
• "God could never forgive you."
• "If God were good, He wouldn’t have allowed this."
• "You don’t need God—you’re too smart for that.”
• "You’ve outgrown God, that is for the weak."
• "If God were good, He wouldn’t have allowed this."
• "You don’t need God—you’re too smart for that.”
• "You’ve outgrown God, that is for the weak."
Goodness without justice isn’t really good at all.

1. Will You Keep Grasping for Control?
2. Will You Keep Using Evil as a Reason to Reject God?
3. Will You Trust the One Who Came to Redeem?
