Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com.

Upcoming Events

Today! - Annual Church Budget Meeting
All are welcome to attend the church budget meeting at 4:00 pm on February 2. Members will be voting to approve the 2025 budget. Please email info@hittheriver.com if you have any questions.

February 7 - Parents Night Out
All 3-year-old (fully potty trained)-5th graders are invited to a Valentine's Day themed Parent's Night Out! Drop your kids off at the church, let us take care of their dinner and entertainment, and even do a service project with them while you enjoy a Friday night date night! The cost will be $10 per child.

February 9 - Sign ups begin for Ladies Spring Retreat
All Ladies that attend the River are invited to join us again this year for our Spring Retreat on April 25 - 26th. Registrations begin in person on Sunday, February 9. In the meantime decide who you would like to room with and get ready for registrations. You will sign up together as a room this year. You can sign up for a room with 2,3 or 4 people. Watch for the Retreat flyer to be available in the bulletin and on the table in lobby beginning next week.

March 15 - Serve Saturday
We are volunteering at A Child's Hope International and we want you to join us! There our volunteers will pack, seal, and box high protein food to be shipped all around the world. We will be packing from 9:30-11:30 am on March 15. This is a fun, energetic volunteer experience for families to do together. We do recommend volunteers be at least 6 years old.

Registration will fill up fast, so use the link below to sign up! You can sign up multiple members of your family at once, simply add the number of additional people you will be bringing before hitting the blue 'sign up' button on the website.

February 3 - Ladies Book Club 6:00 - 8:00 pm
We will be discussing the book The Memory Library by Kate Storey

February 8 - Crafting Group 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Grab your craft project and join us for some crafting fellowship! We meet at the River and you can come anytime between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

February 15 - Clay & Trap Shooting
We will be meeting from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Middletown Sportsman's Club.
