- Emphasize the Power of God, Not the Fear of Man.
- Maintain Boundaries and Enforce Consequences.

“Punishment and discipline are two different things. Punishment is about getting retaliation (getting even) and discipline is about restoration (growing in instruction). God punished Jesus so that all we receive now from God is discipline.”

- Identify God’s Behavioral Boundaries.
- Emphasize the Power of God, Not the Fear of Man.
- Maintain Boundaries and Enforce Consequences.
- Teach Our Children to Love Sinners More than They Hate Their Sin.
- Offer Total Love, Forgiveness, and Acceptance of People Regardless of Their Choices But Also Point Them Back to God’s Word
