YOU WEREN’T MADE TO DO LIFE ALONE!
Your family, relationships, and team can only move at the speed of trust.
The Lord knows you better than you know yourself.
The Lord is always with you.
The Lord intimately formed you and knew you before you were born.
God is the one you should fully entrust your heart too.
MAKE MY HEART LIKE YOURS, O GOD!
TALK IT OVER
Opening Reflection
1. What is something that gets you up in the morning and fuels your passion?
2. Have you ever set goals or made plans, only to realize they didn’t bring lasting fulfillment? How did that impact your heart?
The Weight of Loneliness & Isolation
3. The Surgeon General reported that loneliness has the same health risks as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Have you ever experienced a season of loneliness? How did it affect your relationship with God?
4. God created us for community. How can Life Groups help you stay connected and accountable in your faith journey?
The Condition of Our Hearts
5. Psalm 78:70-72 describes David as a leader with "integrity of heart." What does it mean to have integrity of heart before God?
6. “Talent can get you there, but character keeps you.” How does surrendering to God shape your character and legacy?
God Knows You Completely
7. Psalm 139 tells us that God knows our thoughts, our ways, and even our struggles. How does knowing this change the way you see your relationship with Him?
8. What areas of your heart do you find hardest to surrender to God?
The Power of Surrender
9. Psalm 139:23-24 is a dangerous prayer: “Search me, God, and know my heart.” What would it look like for you to truly invite God to search and lead you?
10. Every time God moves in someone’s life, it is preceded by surrender. What is one step of surrender you can take this week?
Closing Prayer & Commitment
11. Spend time praying Psalm 139:23-24 as a group. Ask God to change your heart to reflect His.
12. How can this group support and encourage you in surrendering more fully to God?
Challenge: This week, pray daily: “Make my heart like Yours, Oh God.” Be intentional in seeking His presence and surrendering control.
