“So great a salvation”
Being a Saint isn’t about what you do for God. It’s about what He has done and is doing in you.
Paul calls Christians saints – that is, holy ones, consecrated ones, set-apart ones, being-made-holy ones. He calls Christians saints 40 times in his letters. Here’s the reason why: We really are new creatures in Christ. Sinner is not our essential identity any longer in Christ. The self that was in its essential identity a sinner has died with Christ. Now you are a new self. Put it on. Put on what you are.
