Sermon Title: Let’s Move in Faith and Stay on Mission

Sermon Text: Acts 13:48 - 14:23

Preparation Question: In what ways does your life point to Jesus?

Three lessons from the first missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas:

1. What the world needs, even if they don’t like it, is for our lives to point to Jesus unquestionably. (13:48 – 14:4, 8-18)

2. You can change your location, but don’t ever move on from your God-given purpose. (13:51-52 & 14:5-7)

3. Live or die, rain or shine, Heaven is coming IF Christ is your life. (14:19-23)

1. Why is the gospel of Jesus Christ so polarizing?
2. What was the difference between Paul and Barnabas' reaction to the crowd's worship in Acts 14:8-18 and Herod's in Acts 12:20-23, and what do those contrasting situations teach us?
