Fully Alive Part 2: Identity Theft

Fully Alive Part 2: Identity Theft

Fully Alive explores the opening chapter of Daniel, where a young exile’s courage and unwavering faith inspire us to live boldly for God in a world that challenges our convictions. This series highlights how Daniel’s commitment to God’s standards led to physical, spiritual, and emotional flourishing, even in a foreign culture. Through his example, we’ll discover the power of identity rooted in God and how obedience opens the door to His favor. Join us as we learn to live fully alive, no matter the circumstances, by trusting in God’s provision and purpose.

From this day forward, I will choose gratitude, kindness, and health.
I will seek Christ-centered community—gathering large, gathering small, and stepping out in faith to invite others.
Together, we will pray boldly, give generously, and serve passionately.
This year, I will live for what matters most - JESUS OVER EVERYTHING!
We will live fully alive!
- Daniel means God is my judge.
- Hananiah means Yahweh is gracious.
- Mishael means Who is like God?
- Azariah means Yahweh has helped.
If he can redefine how you see yourself, he can redirect the course of your life.
- You are chosen. (1 Peter 2:9)
- You are loved. (Romans 8:38-39)
- You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
- You are forgiven. (Ephesians 1:7)
- You are a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
- You are God’s masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10)
• An ambassador for Christ (v. 20)
• Reconciled to God (v. 19)
• Clothed in the righteousness of God (v. 21)
Will we step into the identity Christ died to give us?
Your identity isn’t found in what the world says about you—it’s found in who God says you are.
1. The Line in the Sand:What God is asking you to surrender or trust Him with over the next 10 days.
1. Committing to be phone free after a certain time each day
2. Walking around your block daily, praying for your neighbors.
3. Writing down three things you’re grateful for every day.
4. Sending a daily text or note to encourage someone.
5. Refusing to watch movies or shows with certain ratings.
6. Refraining from a particular food or drink, like caffeine or sweets.
7. Praying with someone face-to-face every day.
8. Setting aside $5 every day in a generosity jar.
9. Picking up a piece of trash every time you’re in a parking lot.
10. Having a faith conversation with someone daily.
2. Daily Surrender
3. The Challenge to Influence
This is about trusting God to start something in you over the next 10 days that will propel you forward—not into a momentary change, but into a new rhythm.
