Our Wednesday evening men’s group provides fellowship, weekly inspirational messages, opportunities to share and discuss real-world problems, mentorship / accountability, small group prayer time, and, of course, discussion of the meaning and application of God’s Word in our lives. Join us for our study of Job, starting January 15th.

Whether new to studying God's word or if you've been reciting scripture for as long as you can remember, we have a seat for you! We strive to provide a place for you to grow in your walk with Christ and create meaningful relationships with other women. Studies are available Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and Wednesday evenings, starting January 14 & 15.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group (starting January 15th) you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief and gain solid support each step of the way.
Your bereavement experience may be recent or not so recent. No matter how long it’s been, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling.

The 2025 Annual Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, February 2nd, at 12:15 pm in the auditorium. This meeting is where we vote on the budget, approve new members of church leadership, welcome new members of the church, and more. We will be offering an online option at efree.org/meet for those members who cannot attend in-person, though we encourage in-person attendance if possible. Please remember that while anyone who attends First Free is welcome at the meeting, only members may vote. Childcare is available – please register at efree.org/annualmeeting If you would like to take a deep dive into the budget, please attend the Budget Preview Meeting on Sunday, January 26, at 12:15 pm in Room 341.

The Chinese Spring Festival Gala is a vibrant and joyous event filled with rich traditions and customs to celebrate Chinese New Year. The Chinese Christian Fellowship and the Chinese Language School invite you to celebrate a fun evening of dumpling making, cultural performances and activities, and dinner on Saturday, February 8th! Dumpling-making, family photos, and cultural activities begin at 4 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm and the main program will begin at 7:00 pm. Please come and welcome the Year of the Snake! Registration is encouraged & appreciated.

In his letter to the Galatians, Paul encourages believers to “share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). Life can be hard sometimes, and we aren’t meant to go it alone - we’re meant to do it as part of a group.
