CONSECRATION SERVICE 2025 • Celebrate the new year with us on Sunday, January 5, 2025!

Our pastors and ministry leaders will review highlights from 2024, and cast a vision for 2025 and beyond!

Pastor Robert will share a brief message before we take communion together.

CCE INFORMATION MEETING • Join us on Sunday, January 5th, for an information meeting with the CCE Board of Elders.

We will gather in the Chapel after worship service. Join us at 11:45am, or drop in as you make your way from the sanctuary.

CONNECT | YOUNG ADULTS GROWING CLOSER TO GOD & EACH OTHER • Connect brings together college-age and young professionals who desire the purpose filled pursuit of Jesus Christ in their lives as we build and experience healthy, nurturing relationships.

Our young adults (marrieds and singles) are meeting Sunday, January 5th. We welcome you to join us, 5-8pm, for dinner, fun, and fellowship at the home of Robert and Kim Case.

FAITH AND FORKS • Ladies of all ages, please join us at the Armbruster home on Sunday, January 19th, for Faith and Forks.

We will gather at the Lodge after church, from 12-2pm. It’s a potluck style lunch, so bring your favorite finger foods or dessert to share.

YOUTH WINTER CAMP 2025 • Join us for a transformative weekend at Camp Ghormley.

This Christ-centered experience will include winter activities, engaging worship, the teaching of God’s word, and small group discussions that foster deep connections and spiritual growth.

When: February 7-9

Where: Camp Ghormley

Who: Open to students who complete 6th through 12th grade during the 2024-25 school year

Cost: $180

CCSD: GROWING STRONG MIDWEEK • Our Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship desires to glorify God as we nurture and develop a Spirit-led walk with Christ.

Winter term begins on January 8th. Learn more about AWANA Clubs, Senior High and Junior High Classes, Young Adult Grace Group, Women’s Bible Study, Men Discipling Men, and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Most classes meet 7-8:30pm. The Young Adult Grace Group will meet twice a month, via Zoom.

These ministries are open to everyone! From the youngest to the oldest, there is love and encouragement for all.

AWANA • Calvary Chapel Eastside’s AWANA program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God’s Word in their hearts.

Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children.

Winter term begins on January 8th.

Join us Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30pm. All children 3 years through 6th grade will grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through the Bible in this multi-leveled club.

JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY CLASS • The Junior High group meets every Sunday, at 10am in Room 203. Brian Parks is teaching new materials from the Answers In Genesis Middle School program and sharing in many other interactive games and activities. Don’t miss the fellowship and fun!

WOMEN’S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we journey together through the book of Proverbs. Bring your Bibles, ladies. We will study in various translations and enjoy verse mapping together.

In addition to our study, we will enjoy a time of fellowship and prayer, as well as a variety of hikes, picnics, and other activities.

We welcome you to join us on Tuesday, January 7th, 10:30am-12:30pm, in the Sanctuary.

WOMEN'S WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we explore the Hebrew names of God and reflect on how each of God’s names shows us His character.

Together, we will discover what each name means, where to find it in the Bible, and how to be intentional in our practical application of each name to our lives.

MEN DISCIPLING MEN • Men Discipling Men (MDM) meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm, in Room 205.

ECHO GLEN MINISTRY | JANUARY 12 • Please consider joining Pastor Robert on the 2nd Sunday of the month for a 3pm Chapel Service at the Echo Glen Youth Detention Facility in Snoqualmie. This is an opportunity for you to meet and pray for these incarcerated youth during a brief (~40 minute) service.

Please reach out to Pastor Robert (robert@cceastside.com) if you are interested in participating in this important ministry.

Please pray for our Echo Glen Ministry Team as they share the Gospel and pray over these youth. If you would like to join us in January, please send an email message to Honey Herman - DCYF (honey.herman@dcyf.wa.gov) for a volunteer application.

HOME FELLOWSHIPS • Home fellowships are a wonderful way to get involved in community, strengthen your relationship with the Lord, and learn together!

We encourage you to think and pray about joining a group this year!

VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED | CCE A/V TEAM • Are you interested in participating in our ever-expanding audio/video ministry? Please fill out a connect card with your contact information and a note that you would like to participate. We are currently teaching volunteers how to mix sound for both our in-house congregation and those listening online here and abroad. We are also training volunteers in video, lighting, and streaming technologies.
