Goals accomplished/made significant progress on in the last year:
• Remodel/update worship center to meet current functional and aesthetic needs while maintaining traditional appeal.
• Establish a Good News Club at Spotsylvania Elementary.
• Send church members through SBC of Virginia Disaster Relief to respond to three natural disasters by the end of 2027 and ten total natural disasters by the end of 2032.
Goals we still need to accomplish:
• Baptize 30 believers by the end of 2027 and 100 believers by the end of 2032.
• As a church, engage in an average of 50 gospel conversations each month.
• Adopt two surrounding neighborhoods to focus on reaching with the gospel.
• Establish mission partnerships in two locations around the world. This includes partnership with local churches and long-term missionaries and involves short-term trips.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
We are collecting our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions during the month of December. Our goal this year is $16,000. You are encouraged to consider how you can give sacrificially to help support the spread of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. 100% of the funds raised will be sent to the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to place missionaries on the field.
Wednesday Night Activities
Wednesday night activities held at Goshen will resume on January 8.
Goshen Picture Directory
Goshen will be resuming directory photos on January 12th. Sharon Houston will be taking family pictures here at Goshen for those who have not yet taken them. The photography fee is $10 per family, and you will receive 3-5 high-resolution, edited images via an online gallery. If you have not signed up and wish to have your pictures taken, please contact Aurie McGee at 540-582-2892.
Puerto Rico Mission Trip
Want to join a team from Goshen on mission in Puerto Rico? Mark your calendar for March 14-21, 2025. We are looking for a team of 6-10 people. We will be working with Christian and Valeria Acevedo and their church plant in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. More information about this trip and how to register can be found at subspla.sh/66dqsxz
Mission Opportunity
… The Standing Rock team needs more hands and feet! We are looking to expand our ability to offer more services in Bullhead, SD, during the week of July 25–August 1, 2025. We need people who are willing to assist with children and adults for Bible lessons, crafts, games and food prep. Children’s Ministry Volunteers Needed
The Children’s Ministry is urgently seeking volunteers to help with both Sunday school and Awana programs. These ministries are vital in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow in their faith, but they cannot thrive without the dedication and service of volunteers.
