God Stories

God Stories

We'll be hearing from Uziel Romero (our Worship Arts Director) as he preaches from Scripture about remembering and celebrating God's work in our lives. After the sermon, we want to hear from YOU. How have you seen God at work in your life (we call them God stories)? What is God teaching you right now? We want to take time on this final Sunday of 2024 to highlight the greatness of God as we look back over 2024 and anticipate his movement in 2025!

This Week's Sermon: God Stories
Beyond Sunday

Growing with Jesus isn’t just for Sundays. Make it an everyday, everywhere, with everyone mission by going “beyond Sunday”!

Engage in these resources on your own and with your Grow Group*, family, or a friend:

Grow
• Set aside time this week to reflect on the “God stories” in your life from this year. Write them down and journal how you have grown spiritually through these “God stories.”
• If you’re having trouble seeing God’s work in your life, listen to this song and delight in the Lord inviting you to come to Him: search “Come You Unfaithful” (Michael Boggs).

Share
• Who can you share one of your “God stories” with this week to encourage them, even if you don’t know them well or aren’t sure what they believe spiritually.

Connect
• Who in your “community” can you invite over to your home or meet up with for coffee to reflect on “God stories” with? Then prayerfully consider together how you desire for God to move in your lives in 2025!

* Connecting in community with other believers is crucial for spiritual growth. Explore group options at npberean.org/gg

Next Week's Sermon

As we launch 2025, we're going to get back to basics. Our mission here at Berean is "Leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." But questions we ought to ask include: "What does a growing relationship with Jesus Christ look like?" "How can I tell if I'm growing in my relationship with Jesus?" As a church, we've identified, from Scripture, four core areas of what a growing relationship with Jesus looks like. We'll discuss the first one in order to build a foundation upon which the others will stand.
