I Want To Serve

As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

hey
What sort of a body will the resurrection produce?
Paul does in fact think that the resurrected body will be a different kind of thing to the present one.
While our present bodies are adapted for the environment of time and earth, our resurrection bodies will be adapted for the environment of eternity and heaven.
Incorruption triumphs over corruption.
Glory triumphs over dishonor.
Power triumphs over weakness.
Spiritual triumphs over natural.
“And finally, there is the painful riddle of death, for which no remedy at all has yet been found, nor probably ever will be.”
Sigmund Freud
“I will not fear thee, death, why should I? Thou lookest like a dragon, but thy sting is gone. Thy teeth are broken, oh old lion, why should I fear thee? I know thou art no more able to destroy me, but thou art sent as only a messenger to conduct me to the golden gate wherein I shall enter and see my Savior's unveiled face forever. Expiring saints have often said that their last beds have been the best they have ever slept upon.”
Charles Spurgeon
How can we do anything but thank and praise God for what He has done for us? He has promised us an imperishable, glorious, powerful, and spiritual body for one that is perishable, dishonorable, weak, and natural. He promises us the heavenly in exchange for the earthly, the immortal in exchange for the mortal. We know these promises are assured because He has already given victory over sin and death.
Far too many Christians have been content to separate our future hope from present responsibility.
To be steadfast and immovable, is a life abounding in the work of The Lord. Our present life should by marked by bodily obedience to Christ Jesus.
