Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com.

Upcoming Events

December 11 - J.O.Y. Group (Just Older Youth)
This is a group of active middle agers and senior adults, singles or couples, who gather monthly to enjoy their God given life through Christian fellowship, education and occasional activities of service to our church and community. They meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Dessert, Coffee, Tea and water will be served.

December 15 - Kids will sing in church
On Sunday, December 15 during the 9:30 service, ages 3 - 5th grade will be singing their Christmas song "Star of the Morning."

December 21 - Happy Birthday Jesus Party
Your whole family is invited to join the River Kids family for a very special birthday party in celebration of JESUS! On December 21, from 6:00-8:00 PM, we will gather for a special evening of family games, an engaging and memorable Christmas devotion, a family-friendly service project, and of course... BIRTHDAY CAKE! Wear your most favorite festive attire and join us for an unforgettable Christmas celebration. Register your family by going to HitTheRiver.com. See you there!

December 24 - Christmas Eve Services
Join us for Christmas Eve service here at The River. Service times will be 2:00, 3:30 & 5:00 pm. Services will be for the whole family, RiverKids classes will not be available. We hope you will join us!

December 29 - One Service
On Sunday, December 29 we will have one service only at 9:30 am.
River Kids classes will be available for all ages.

January 7 - April 1 - GriefShare
Starting Tuesday, January 7 we will have a Grief Share group, here at The River, that meets weekly for 13 weeks. This group will meet every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Margie Jenkins will be leading the group, you can register for the group by going to www.GriefShare.org.

January 15 - Ladies Bible Study
All ladies of The River are invited to join our upcoming Ladies Bible Study! We will be working through "God of Creation" by Jen Wilkin and studying Genesis 1-11. This is a 10 week study beginning January 15 and will take place Wednesdays at The River from 6:30-8 PM. Register at HitTheRiver.com.
