Many people today feel trapped, living paycheck to paycheck and burdened by financial stress. The “Legacy” series is designed to break those chains and guide individuals from a mindset of fear and scarcity to one of financial freedom, stewardship, and generosity.
Through this four-part series, we’ll explore how to build a solid financial foundation that not only provides security for your family but also contributes to a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

🛠 In today’s message, discover:
-How faith, not finances, unlocks miracles.
-How God multiplies what we give back to Him.
-The courage to overcome fear and tear down the devil’s scarecrow of scarcity.

-The courage to overcome fear and tear down the devil’s scarecrow of scarcity.
🌾 Let’s tear down the devil’s scarecrow and trust God to multiply what we give in faith. Whether big or small, your Legacy Offering is writing someone else’s freedom story!
Your generosity builds the Kingdom. Let’s reap a harvest together.
Your generosity builds the Kingdom. Let’s reap a harvest together.
Put into ACTION YOUR GENEROSITY BASED on the good things we have in CHRIST.
Every field that you reap in the Devil has placed a Scarecrow.
Money is the best measurement of your faith.
PROBLEM: OUR FAITH LEVEL IS WRONGLY DETERMINED BY OUR FINANCIAL LEVEL.
This little boy didn’t even know the SCARECROW EXISTED.
Faith is the X factor….
Jesus can take scraps and fill a store house!
WE ARE CALLED TO BE A LEGACY CHURCH!
THE DEVIL SCARECROW WANTS TO MAKE YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE STILL A SLAVE.
TALK IT OVER
Reflecting on God’s Generosity
1. Read Philemon 1:6. Paul prays for generosity rooted in faith and understanding of Christ’s goodness. How does reflecting on God’s gifts—life, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit—inspire your generosity?
2. Think about a time when you trusted God with a financial decision. How did that act of faith shape your relationship with Him?
Reaping a Harvest in Faith
1. What is your first thought when you receive income? Is it gratitude, stewardship, or worry? How can you invite God into your financial decisions?
2. Discuss John 6:5-11. How does the boy’s willingness to give his small lunch challenge your perspective on what God can do with what you give?
3. The message mentioned “the devil’s scarecrow” in our finances. What fears or obstacles keep you from trusting God with your money?
Faith vs. Fear
1. Read Malachi 3:10. God challenges His people to trust Him with their tithe. What does “testing God” with your finances look like in your life?
2. How do you balance being a wise steward of your money while also being open-handed and generous?
Writing a Legacy for Others
1. Deuteronomy 15:14-15 talks about giving liberally to others as God has blessed us. How does the idea of your generosity “writing someone else’s legacy” motivate you to give?
2. Who in your life or community might experience freedom through your giving? How can you pray for them as you consider your legacy offering?
Action Steps in Generosity
1. What is one practical step you can take this week to “put your generosity into action,” as Paul encouraged Philemon?
2. Spend time in prayer as a group, asking God to reveal His vision for your financial legacy and to give you faith to trust Him with what He’s given you.
Closing Challenge
Legacy is about trusting God to multiply what you give in faith. How will you take a step today to tear down fear, trust His provision, and sow into the Kingdom for the freedom of others?
