As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

Paul sees the gathering of the church as a time when people come to participate and to give to one another, not merely to passively receive.
JC Ryle
“Doctrine is useless if it is not accompanied by a holy life. It is worse than useless; it does positive harm. Something of ‘the image of Christ’ must be seen and observed by others in our private life, and habits, and character, and doings.”
“The saddest road to hell is the one that runs under the pulpit, past the Bible, and through the middle of warnings and invitations.”

In Christianity, having structure in your life is important because it allows for intentional focus on spiritual growth, provides a framework to prioritize God and live according to biblical principles, helps maintain discipline in practices like prayer and Bible study, and ultimately leads to a more grounded and dedicated faith by providing a consistent path to follow.
The very concept of “self-control” implies a battle between a divided self. It implies that our “self” produces desires we should not satisfy but instead “control.”
Godly self-control says “no” by faith in the superior power of the Holy Spirit and the supreme pleasure in Christ Jesus.
Paul has already assumed the right of women to pray or prophecy publicly (as stated in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16).
Here Are A Few Helpful Ways To Set In Motion A Conversation About The Lord In Your Home:
Tell your spouse exactly how you came to know Christ as your Savior. “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…” Psalm 107:2
Express to your spouse how grateful to God you are for them and how much you love them. “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” Philippians 1:3
Share with your spouse a matter you are specifically praying about at this time. “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
Talk with your spouse about how God has answered prayer and give Him the glory. “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:3
Show your spouse a truth God has recently taught you from His Word. “For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20
Explain to your spouse the spiritual goals you have for your own life. “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12
Discuss with your spouse specific opportunities your family has to minister to others. “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” Philippians 2:4
