Application Questions:
1. Prior to listening to this message, how would you have dened Christian maturity? What about now?
2. Why is God so opposed to pride? (James 4:6)
3. Paul gets very specific by naming two ladies who were at odds with each other in Philippians 4:2-3. How can two people who both love Jesus be at odds with each other? What effect do you think that had on other members of their church family?
4. When we are at odds with someone the issue is rarely the issue. So then what is the issue?
5. Does the context of John 15:1-17 (abiding, bearing fruit, loving one another) give new meaning to God’s “prayer-answering power” promised to us (7 & 16)? What about John 14:13-14 and John 16:23-24 and John 16:26-27?
6. At the end of this Sunday’s message we were given three suggestions for growing Christ-centered relationships. How do these help you to live out Philippians 2:3-4 ?
