Our year end ministry rally will be on Sunday, December 1 following the worship service. We will enjoy a potluck meal together followed by the ministry rally presentations. Ministry rally presentations will include information concerning the 2025 budget and 2025 deacons and elders. These items will be voted on during a brief members meeting following our worship service on Sunday, December 15. Other ministry updates that do not require action by the church will also be shared during the December 1 ministry rally.

Students in Grades 6-12 are invited to join us in the church fellowship hall on Dec. 6 from 6:30-9 pm for our Christmas Olympics. Come for festive games and fellowship! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share, if able, and be ready for a good time!

We have the opportunity to provide Christmas meals for four families from Spotsylvania Elementary School. A signup sheet for the needed meal items is available on the bulletin board. Please return all food donations to the Fellowship Hall NLT Sunday, December 15.

Help brighten the holidays for children from Spotsylvania Elementary School by participating in our Christmas gift program. Tags with clothing needs and special gift requests are available on the small tree outside the church office. Please wrap the gifts, attach the corresponding tag, and return them to the Fellowship Hall by Sunday, December 15.

Want to join a team from Goshen on mission in Puerto Rico? Mark your calendar for March 14-21, 2025. We are looking for a team of 6-10 people. We will be working with Christian and Valeria Acevedo and their church plant in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. The church is Iglesia Bautista Castillo Fuerte. The work will be focused on outreach and evangelism. More information about this trip and our new partnership with Iglesia Bautista Castillo Fuerte will be forthcoming very soon.

The church office is updating the list of families or individuals who would like to receive envelope boxes for 2025. Please contact the office via email or phone if you currently have envelopes and won’t need them next year or if you don’t have envelopes this year and would like to receive them for next year. Your help is greatly appreciated. If you have any excess envelopes from this year, we would be grateful to receive them in the office for future use.

The Children’s Ministry is urgently seeking volunteers to help with both Sunday school and Awana programs. These ministries are vital in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow in their faith, but they cannot thrive without the dedication and service of volunteers. With our audio/visual upgrades in the sanctuary, you can now watch the Sunday morning worship service in the Goshen app in addition to our Facebook and YouTube pages. Meeting on the third Sunday of each month, Goshen Student Ministry will be hosting The Goshen Guild, a mission to reach the students of our community through popular table-top role play games.
