Followers of Jesus are to be identified by their love for one another.
Our love for one another, should look like Christ's love for us.
How often do you think people would say they know you are a Christian because of the way you show love for others? Very Often, Some what often, Not often, Never?

After Judas goes to betray Jesus, Jesus reaffirms that what is coming is unto God's glory and purposes.
In light of what is coming, Jesus gives a new command and it is two-fold:
Love one another--as he has loved them.
Everyone will know they are his disciples by this display of love.
Love one another--as he has loved them.
Everyone will know they are his disciples by this display of love.
Jesus' love was perfect, sacrificial and self-less.
He calls his disciples to love one another as he loves them.
He calls us to love this way too.
He calls his disciples to love one another as he loves them.
He calls us to love this way too.
Our willingness to love one another can't be based on the other person.
It must come from our love for Christ.
Without Christ-like love, our "righteous acts" and "selfless deeds" are meaningless.

How is your faith evident in your love for one another?

COMMUNION: REMEMBERING WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR US ON THE CROSS, AND EXPERIENCING HIS PRESENCE TODAY.
COMMUNION
We believe in an open communion, and would like to invite anyone who has professed faith in Jesus to participate with us this morning.
Communion elements will be made available at the close of service at the front of the room, please wait to come forward until we have prayed.
The bread represents the body of Christ.
The juice/cup represents the blood of Christ.

Are you ready to be baptized? In the Bible, when people come to faith in Christ, and they ask "what do I do now?" the answer is consistently baptism. In baptism, we identify with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection as we lay down our lives in the water, and come to new life in Christ. If you believe Jesus is Lord and are ready to make that declaration in your life, sign up and we would love to baptize you.
