Call to Worship and Welcome
Leader: “We waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to us and heard our cry. He drew us up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog,
All: and set our feet upon a rock, making our steps secure.
Leader: He put a new song in our mouth, a song of praise to our God.
All: Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the one who makes the Lord his trust,
Leader: As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from us;
All: your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve us!
Leader: But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you;
All: may those who love your salvation say continually, "Great is the Lord!"
Leader: As for us, We are poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for us.
All: You are our help and our deliverer; do not delay, O my God!”
