HURRICANE RELIEF • Hurricanes Helene and Milton have caused great damage in several areas of the southeastern United States. Calvary Chapels in the Deep South region are helping in practical ways and sharing the love of Jesus.

To coordinate efforts between Calvary Chapels who want to help and the Calvary Chapels who are in the affected areas, the Calvary Chapel Association (CCA) has set up a network of communications to connect with areas and people in need.

CCSD: GROWING STRONG MIDWEEK • Our Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship desires to glorify God as we nurture and develop a Spirit-led walk with Christ.

We welcome you to participate with us each Wednesday as we dig into God’s Word and will for our lives.

Pick up a Fall Brochure at the Lobby Information Desk or a seat pocket in the sanctuary. Learn more about Awana Clubs, Senior High and Junior High Classes, Young Adult Grace Group, Women’s Bible Study, Men Discipling Men, and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Most classes meet 7-8:30pm. The Young Adult Grace Group meets twice a month, on Sunday. These ministries are open to everyone! From the youngest to the oldest, there is love and encouragement for all.

AWANA • Calvary Chapel Eastside’s AWANA program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God’s Word in their hearts.

Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children.

Registration is open!

Join us Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30pm. All children 3 years through 6th grade will grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through the Bible in this multi-leveled club.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE • CCE has resumed FREE ESL classes on Wednesdays, at 7pm. Whether you are just beginning or wanting to practice your English speaking skills, we have something for you!

JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY CLASS • The Junior High group meets every Sunday, at 10am in Room 203. Brian Parks is teaching new materials from the Answers In Genesis Middle School program and sharing in many other interactive games and activities. Don’t miss the fellowship and fun!

WOMEN’S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we journey together through the book of Proverbs. Bring your Bibles, ladies. We will study in various translations and enjoy verse mapping together.

In addition to our study, we will enjoy a time of fellowship and prayer, as well as a variety of hikes, picnics, and other activities.

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we explore the vast and powerful methods of prayer through John Eldredge's book, Moving Mountains: Praying with Passion, Confidence, and Authority.

Each session will include a short video and discussion questions. You are welcome to purchase the book and prepare on your own by reading chapters in advance.

YOUNG ADULT GRACE GROUP • Calvary Chapel Eastside is resuming a mental health care group for young adults who are college-age, twenties, and thirties. This group is for young men and women seeking support within a Christ-centered context.

We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoons, 12:30-2pm, in the Library.

Our next gathering is Sunday, November 3rd.

Participants will learn tools for mental and emotional resiliency within a safe and life-giving community. Space is limited.

CONNECT | YOUNG ADULTS GROWING CLOSER TO GOD & EACH OTHER • Connect brings together college-age and young professionals who desire the purpose filled pursuit of Jesus Christ in their lives as we build and experience healthy, nurturing relationships.

Our young adults (marrieds and singles) are meeting Sunday, November 3rd. We welcome you to join us, 5-8pm, at the Lodge. Jacy and Nikita Armbruster will host dinner, fun, and fellowship.

FREE TIRE CHECK • As we approach more of the rain, wind, and cold that autumn and winter seasons bring to the Pacific Northwest, vehicle maintenance becomes a priority for road safety.

On Sunday, November 10th, the CCE Men's Ministry will conduct a no cost tire tread depth check on your vehicle in the lower parking lot immediately after service. Please drive down to the lower parking lot and stop at the orange cones to get your tires checked. The entire process will take about one minute to complete.

ECHO GLEN MINISTRY • Please consider joining Pastor Robert on the 2nd Sunday of the month for a 3pm Chapel Service at the Echo Glen Youth Detention Facility in Snoqualmie. This is an opportunity for you to meet and pray for these incarcerated youth during a brief (~40 minute) service.

FAITH AND FORKS • Ladies of all ages, please join us at the Armbruster home on Sunday, November 17th, for Faith and Forks.

We will gather at the Lodge after church, from 12-2pm. It’s a potluck style lunch, so bring your favorite soup and dessert to share.

VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED | CCE A/V TEAM • Are you interested in participating in our ever-expanding audio/video ministry? We are currently teaching volunteers how to mix sound for both our in-house congregation and those listening online here and abroad. We are also training volunteers in video, lighting, and streaming technologies.

MISSIONS SPOTLIGHT | BULGARIA + UKRAINE • This month’s featured missionary is Mark Stalder. In 2005, Mark traveled to Bulgaria during the summer and winter seasons before he became a full time missionary in July, 2016, investing in the lives of young children at an orphanage in Roman, Bulgaria.

Over the years, Mark has learned the native language and has nurtured many new friendships and ministry contacts. Mark spends each day serving the homeless from a food wagon, and he facilitates short term mission teams from the United States, always serving and connecting with people who need to hear the Gospel.

In addition to his work in Bulgaria, Mark is also facilitating relief to Ukraine.
