I Want To Serve

As a kingdom minded church, we believe that the ultimate fulfillment of our purpose is to be vessels of His grace; giving of ourselves just as He completely gave Himself up for us. The life of a Christ Follower is not about being a spectator for a couple of hours on Sunday. Rather, we open the flood gates of heaven when we sacrificially give of our talents and time.

hey
The Bible’s simplest description of God, and therefore God’s own description of Himself, is love.
We have seen that in Corinth spiritual gifts were present (1:7); right doctrine for the most part was present (11:2); but they were absent of love.
In verses 1-3 Paul insists on just how vital love is; without it , nothing else matters.
In verses 4-7 Paul describes love itself; both being and doing.
In verses 8-13 Paul explains how love is one of the things which will last into God’s new world.
The health of spiritual living is not reflected in spiritual gifts but in spiritual fruit, the first and chief of which is love (Gal. 5:22).
How we see this in our Lord and Savior.
How we see it or don’t see it in our own life.
How can maturing in love change our surroundings.
Love is the way of life in the new world. It is the grammar and language we shall all speak.
A child growing in maturity (vs.11)
A person looking in the mirror (vs.12a)
A person being fully known (vs.12b)
These are temporary helps for building up the Church in the present age, as such it’s important to learn to use them correctly.
