Pray, Vote, Pray.

Your job is to do more than vote and how you respond in this season can prove to be more important than your ballet with even longer-lasting results.
How have you responded so far?
"Much is done for the devil in the Name of God".
Charles Spurgeon

What do you think about this statement?
How would you describe your mission or attitude during this election season? To win or to love your neighbor? Why is that important to define as a follower of Jesus?
After reading and thinking through the passage on Matthew how would Jesus guide us to respond to our enemies or those of opposing view points?
Compare and contrast your freedom as an American and your freedoms in Christ. What is similar and what is different about them.

When someone you know votes differently than you, as they will, how can you enter into a healthy conversation with them and what could be the benefit of doing so?
Describe ways you can stay unified in Jesus through differences. Talk about a time you have experienced this.
By applying Jesus' Kingdom principles of loving first and exercising the freedoms found in His Kingdom a complete transformation of our families and country could occur.
While this feels like a huge undertaking Jesus is calling us to do it. Who in your family, street, neighborhood or town could you begin applying these principles?
This election season and its candidates will come and go but Jesus is King forever. How does this bring you hope and how can you speak that into those around you?
We closed out our services with communion and a charge to be a good neighbor.
Spend some time in your group praying over your unity as believers and how God can use your circle to bring hope to others.
