Living With The End In Mind
- Cynicism is our greatest temptation. Cynicism makes the heart grow cold towards God and others.
- Cold hearts don't love well.
- Stand firm.

A Life Worth Living Gives

A loving live if a giving life.

What You Do With Your Resources Is A Biblical Stewardship Issue
- Two paths
- Buried treasure is wasted treasure.
- We've been blessed to invest.
- Fear is your greatest enemy to faithful stewardship.
- You can't be a sheep without risk to your resources.

What Faithful Biblical Stewardship Of Resources Looks Like
- Four Legs of Stewardship:
Leg 1: Consistent. Stewardship is a discipline.
Leg 2: Proportional. Stewardship requires honesty.
Leg 3: Grace-Motivated. Stewardship is about grace.
Leg 4: Spirit-Led. Stewardship is spiritual power.
I commit to being fully engaged by consistent, proportional, grace-based and Spirit-led generosity of my financial resources by giving financially to CSC.

Questions To Consider:
1. If you were really honest with yourself, do you live from a perspective of scarcity or abundance? What in your life has shaped this perspective?
2. How do you guard your heart against cynicism? “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” (Proverbs 4:23, NLT)
3. Which of the Four Legs of Stewardship do you need to be put into place in your life? What is the fear holding you back? “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NLT)
4. Two things will enliven your relationship with Jesus in significant ways: sharing your faith with another person and giving of your resources in a Biblical way. Make the decision today to trust God more in your life, listen to God’s voice and start sharing and giving. Who will you tell about your decision?

GIVING
Our goal here at Cold Springs Church is transparency. We operate solely on the generosity of those who call Cold Springs home and give regularly to support the mission and vision we are committed to carrying out. God invites us to worship Him in all areas of our lives, including the way we spend our money. Because it is an act of worship, God is more interested in the shape of our heart than the size of our gift.
