LET’S WALK OUT LIKE A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM!
THERE COMES A POINT IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD that you can no longer SIT ON THE SIDELINE and pretend that what you are doing is God’s will.
What you know about God determines your ACTIONS!
The knowledge of God isn’t built on mystical religion, BUT ON FACTS!
THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BOOK THAT DESERVES NOT MY ASSUMPTIONS, BUT MY ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF IT.
The devil’s gotten wiser and we are getting played like fools.
THE BIBLE IS YOUR PLAYBOOK!
This is a Prophetic Word authored by the Holy Spirit through human hands.
IT’S TIME TO SEE FOR YOURSELF.
TALK IT OVER
These questions can encourage the group to dig deep into their trust in God's Word and make bold steps in their faith.
Icebreaker:
1. What’s a bold decision you’ve made recently, even if it was uncomfortable? How did you feel afterward?
Reflect on Trusting God's Word:
2. In 2 Peter 1:3-4, Peter tells us that God’s divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life. What are some challenges that make it hard for you to trust this truth fully?
3. When you hear that "God's Word is 100% reliable," how does that impact your view of the Bible? Do you sometimes feel skeptical about the Bible’s reliability?
Going Public with Faith:
4. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus moved from being secret followers to publicly aligning with Jesus, despite their fears. What fears or social pressures keep you from being bold in your faith?
5. Are there areas in your life where you feel like you're "sitting on the sidelines" instead of taking a stand for God? What’s holding you back?
Breaking the Silence:
6. In the message, the idea of "secret disciples" is highlighted. Why do you think so many Christians, even today, stay silent about their faith?
7. How do you respond when friends or family dismiss the Bible as outdated or unreliable? How can you lovingly stand firm in those conversations?
Knowledge of God:
8. How does the knowledge of God, rooted in facts and truth, help you combat doubts about your faith? What are some ways you can deepen that knowledge this week?
9. Peter urges believers to remember the prophetic word and see the Bible as a light in dark places (2 Peter 1:19). In what areas of your life do you need to let the Bible shine more bright?
Challenge:
10. The message challenges us to “study and memorize our playbook.” What’s one practical step you can take this week to prioritize reading and memorizing Scripture?
11. What Scripture passage would you commit to memorizing this week, and how do you hope it will strengthen your faith?
Final Reflection:
12. Like Peter, who knew the challenges of standing up for Jesus even when it meant suffering, what encouragement can you draw from his example? How can this Life Group support you in being bold in your faith?
