Point 1: Because of Christ, We Are Free from Religion

Now that Jesus has come, we don’t live in the shadow anymore, we live in the reality of Him

Religion says God is far but Christianity tells us that God is near!

f our lives aren’t actually transformed by Christ, we’re still living in the shadow.

Point 2: Because of Christ, We Are Not Bound by Reputation

Do you care more about looking the part or having his Heart?

Point 3: Because of Christ, We Are Free from Human-Made Regulations

You can follow a thousand rules and still have a heart that’s far from God. These human-made rules can’t tackle the real issue, which is SIN

Legalism, at its core, is thinking that by following external rules, we can make ourselves holy.

Legalism says, “I do these things to earn God’s approval.” Abiding in Christ says, “I do these things because I’m already approved through Christ.”

Is not about behavior modification but heart Transformation

free from the burden of religion, free from the pressures of reputation, and free from human-made regulations.

we are free because of the Gospel

The good news that Jesus Christ, fully God, fully man, came down from heaven, lived a sinless life, and willingly went to the cross to pay for our sins. He died the death that we deserved so that we could have life. But He didn’t stay dead. On the third day, He rose again, defeating sin, death, and every power of darkness once and for all. This is the gospel—the message that sets us free.

The cross is where it was all finished. The resurrection is where it was all won.
