Servants of God

As Christians our lives are to be lived in submission to various secular authorities, yet countercultural because we no longer belong to this world. Surrounded by culture, philosophy, politics, authorities, attitudes, and way of life that is contrary to God’s standard of holiness, we are to live as ambassadors of Christ leading people to Jesus as we live for the glory of God and our neighbors good. --- Life is full of challenges, yet as Christians we are called to live holy lives, reflecting God's character in every part of life. While enduring suffering and hardship is never easy, Jesus, our living hope, gives hope in difficult times. Throughout the letter of 1 Peter, we are reminded of the transformative power of God's amazing grace, the need to endure trials with patience, and the importance of trusting God by living in obedience to His word.
