Every Thursday - Unlocking The Old Testament
Come join us on Thursdays at 10:30 am as we study the Old Testament with Pastor Ryan. We will create a framework for us to understand the timeline and the events of the Old Testament, and also study the book of Isaiah. No registration required. This group is open to all. Questions?

October 13 - Homecoming Worship Night
On Sunday night, we will have a homecoming event that starts with fellowship in the cafe at 5:00 pm, followed by worship at 6:00 pm. If you are able to, please bring a hot soup or chili to share. (chicken noodle, potato, bean, broccoli cheddar, beef stew, etc.) Beverages and paper-ware/utensils provided. Come and let’s fill our physical and spiritual bodies together. Email mystique@hittheriver.com if you have questions.
October 18 - 20 - River Church Backpacking Trip
This is for all the outdoorsy people! A weekend of backpacking and camping in Red River Gorge led by Tim Snyder. Must be at least 18 years old to go, please email tim@HitTheRiver.com if you are interested. An informational meeting will be held between services on October 6.
October 23 - River 101 Class
Interested in learning more about The River Church? Tim Snyder will be teaching our River 101 class here at The River Church on Wednesday, October 23 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. If you are interested in membership, this class is a prerequisite.
October 27 - Newcomer's Lunch
Our next Newcomer's luncheon will be Sunday, October 27 immediately after the second service in our Cafe. If you are newer to the River and would like to meet some of the staff, leadership team and other new attendees this is for you! Lunch is provided and there is no cost but you must register. For questions please email our Director of Connections & Small Groups Leslie Stone at Leslie@hittheriver.com.
