Locations & Times

Christ Community - Olathe Campus

20600 W 119th St, Olathe, KS 66061, United States

Sunday 7:00 AM

Conversation Starters

1. Read Romans 12:9-21.

2. How well do you think our community group is embodying the picture of “good” Paul outlines in this passage? How can our group grow in this lifestyle?

3. What do you find helping or hindering living in the way described here? What can you do to foster an environment in your Monday world that helps you and those around you live like this?

4. Read the passage again, slowly. Have the group close their eyes as they listen. Invite the group to pay attention to any specific phrases that stand out. With their eyes still closed, have them ask God why that particular phrase stood out. Is there something that God wants them to hear? After a short moment of silence, ask the group to open their eyes and share.
– Jesus’ love changes the way we treat people.
– Jesus’ love for us changes the way we treat people.

– Jesus’ love in us changes the way we treat people.
– We love, honor, and work like family.
– Take the lead in honoring one another.
– Do not lack diligence in zeal; be fervent in the Spirit; serve the Lord.
– Never ever ever stop hoping for each other.
– Meet people where they really are.
– Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
– Humbly appreciate the harmony.
– Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
– Live honorably.
– Live peacefully.
– Do not repay evil for evil.
– Repay evil with good.
