We are collecting our Vision Virginia State Missions Offering during the month of September. You can give by using one of the Vision Virginia offering envelopes provided in the bulletin or by designating your check and placing it in the offering plate on Sunday morning. Our goal this year is $3,000. More information about this offering is available at www.sbcv.org.

We are excited to support Operation Christmas Child this year by collecting materials to create special items for the shoeboxes. We are asking for donations of any unused sewing notions you may have, such as extra threads, buttons, lace, and other sewing supplies, to assemble sewing kits for teenage girls' shoeboxes. We are also collecting unwanted CDs, which will be transformed into fun spinner tops for the children's shoeboxes. Please place your donations in a bag labeled "OCC" and drop them in the designated box in the library by October 1. Your contributions will help us bring joy and practical gifts to children in need this Christmas season.

Please join us for the Wednesday Night Meal on October 2 at 5:30. Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and desserts will be on the menu. A signup sheet is on the bulletin board. We are looking forward to gathering again to share a meal.

Make plans to be at Goshen for Homecoming on Sunday, October 6. As a part of our Homecoming celebration, we will be having a dedication for our newly renovated sanctuary. We will also have former Goshen pastor Rob Moor and his wife Lisa with us. Rob will be preaching that morning. Following the service, we will continue the celebration with a potluck fellowship meal. Be sure to be here and invite former Goshen members to come home for Homecoming!

The Children’s Ministry is urgently seeking volunteers to help with both Sunday school and Awana programs. These ministries are vital in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow in their faith, but they cannot thrive without the dedication and service of volunteers. Meeting on the third Sunday of each month, Goshen Student Ministry will be hosting The Goshen Guild, a mission to reach the students of our community through popular table-top role play games.
