AWANA • Calvary Chapel Eastside’s AWANA program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God’s Word in their hearts.

Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children.

Registration is open!

We are kicking off our 2024-25 season on Wednesday, September 18th, 7-8:30pm. All children 3 years through 6th grade will grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through the Bible in this multi-leveled club.

CONNECT YOUNG ADULTS HIKE & PICNIC • The Connect Young Adults group is gathering on Saturday, September 21st, for a hike and picnic at Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish.

We will meet at 10am for hiking, then enjoy an afternoon picnic and games. Please bring your lunch.

Later in the day, Jerome and Sarah Israel will host an after gathering at their home in Sammamish. Pizza will be provided.

CCE LAKEMONT GARAGE SALE • We are now accepting donations for our annual Lakemont Global Missions Garage Sale on Friday, September 27th, and Saturday, September 28th.

Donations may include housewares, clothing, shoes, toys, electronics, tools, etc. Please, no furniture, large appliances, exercise equipment, or children's car seats.

Prefer donations be brought on Sundays, after church, in the designated SW corner of the CCE parking garage.

BAPTISM SATURDAY • Would you like to be baptized? Identifying with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection is an important sacrament and opportunity to publicly demonstrate your love for God. See below to learn more and sign up to be baptized!

AUTUMN WORK PARTY • It’s that time! Fall is upon us, and we need your helping hands with a variety of projects in and around CCE!

Our next work party is Saturday, October 5th, 9:30am-12:30pm.

We are assembling crews now. If you can help with projects on October 5th; or if you can donate a couple of hours during the week to help maintain our facilities and grounds, please contact George Balcazar (billpayfiveseven@protonmail.com).

YOUNG ADULT GRACE GROUP • Calvary Chapel Eastside will be resuming a mental health care group for young adults who are college-age, twenties, and thirties. This group is for young men and women seeking support within a Christ-centered outpatient context.

Beginning October 6th, we will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoons, 12:30-2pm, in the Library.

Participants will learn tools for mental and emotional resiliency within a safe and life-giving community. Space is limited.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE • CCE has resumed FREE ESL classes on Wednesdays, at 7pm. Whether you are just beginning or wanting to practice your English speaking skills, we have something for you!

JUNIOR HIGH SUNDAY CLASS • The Junior High group meets every Sunday, at 10am in Room 203. Brian Parks is teaching new materials from the Answers In Genesis Middle School program and sharing in many other interactive games and activities. Don’t miss the fellowship and fun!

WOMEN’S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we journey together through the book of Proverbs. Bring your Bibles, ladies. We will study in various translations and enjoy verse mapping together.

In addition to our study, we will enjoy a time of fellowship and prayer, as well as a variety of hikes, picnics, and other activities.

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY • Please join us as we explore the vast and powerful methods of prayer through John Eldredge's book, Moving Mountains: Praying with Passion, Confidence, and Authority.

Each session will include a short video and discussion questions. You are welcome to purchase the book and prepare on your own by reading chapters in advance.

VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED | CCE A/V TEAM • Are you interested in participating in our ever-expanding audio/video ministry? We are currently teaching volunteers how to mix sound for both our in-house congregation and those listening online here and abroad. We are also training volunteers in video, lighting, and streaming technologies.
