Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

September 8th - Family Ice Cream Social
All families of babies-elementary kids are invited to meet up at The Twist on Sunday, September 8, at 3 PM. Enjoy a yummy treat, let the kids run and play, and connect with other families in similar life stages. The address is 7813 Bethany Road in Liberty Township. September 19th - "Unlocking The Old Testament" Bible Study
Come join us on Thursdays at 10:30 am as we study the Old Testament with Pastor Ryan. We will create a framework for us to understand the timeline and the events of the Old Testament, and also study the book of Isaiah. No registration required. This group is open to all. September 21st - Church BBQ Picnic
Our annual fall BBQ event is back! We are going to have a backyard BBQ here at the River at 5:00 p.m on Saturday, September 21st. The church will be providing pulled pork and hotdogs and church attenders will sign up for sides and desserts. We will have sign-ups available in person near the fireplace.

October 4th - Ladies Unshakable Conference
An evening gathering of women seeking Jesus, overcoming life's challenges and growing resilient though encouraging messages, worship and community. Doors open at 6:30 and the conference is from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. with an after party to follow. The after party includes late night appetizers, bonfire & s'mores, board & card games and raffle prizes. This is a regional event and tickets are free but you must be registered to attend. Questions? email Leslie@hittheriver.com

Grief Share Group
We have a Grief Share group here that meets weekly every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Margie Jenkins will be leading the group, you can register for the group by going to HitTheRiver.com and clicking the Events tab.

Youth fall studies will be kicking off soon!

All 6th - 8th grade girls please join us for our fall weekly bible study on the book Radiant by Priscilla Shirer. We will meet during the 9:30 service in the youth room starting Sunday, September 8th and will continue until the end of year. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Brittany McGaffin at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com.

High school girls grades 9th-12th, join us for a fun fall series on seeing God in Christian movies. We will meet two times a month to discuss a different movie each month. Our first meeting will be on Sunday, September 8th from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Youth Room at church. If you are interested in joining our group please email Brittany McGaffin at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com.

Boys grades 6th - 12th will meet weekly on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 service beginning Sunday, September 15th. Ben Millard will be leading this study.
