Insight: Recognizing how Jesus views us can move us to treat others as we would treat Jesus, or as He would treat us. Though others may not seem worthy, Jesus is.
To get you thinking: What causes you to think that Jesus loves you?

5. What two words might describe how Jesus would treat the people in your life? What two words might describe how you would treat Jesus if He were standing before you?

8. Why do you think verse 28 says that husbands should love their wives like they love their own bodies?
9. Verse 30 says that we are members of Christ’s body. How would viewing someone else as a part of your own body change how you treat them?
10. The Bible is describing marriage as a picture of the relationship between Christ and the church. How would you describe in one phrase what Christ has done for the church?
11. What is God saying to you personally through this passage?
